Procrastination

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Busy. The exchange of time for ________. (fill in the task)

Work /money
Cooking/ eating
Cleaning
Writing
Fun
Facebook
Reading
Talking
Serving others
Inspiring
Praying / worship
All the above

I am learning God's timing is not our timing. His schedule is very different than our microwave moment, split second, got to get it done now way of living.

S        L      O       W     is how God works.

2 Peter 3:8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

And His way may lead us to give up, geez a thousand years! Sometimes before getting started because something else gets our attention and draws us away from what is important, what HE calls us to do.

But God's will is elusive. Or is it? His will is written in the pages of the Bible. It is our to do list. It is the place to find out how to live life. The instruction manual.

In the picture at the top of this post, when we choose to go to the internet instead of what we are called to do, look for scripture to help solve the task at hand. It will provide the way.
